Vintage Wooden Drawer – Curved Front Storage Box

Old vintage wooden cabinet drawer with beautiful natural wood grain and a distinctive gently curved front panel.

The subtle curve of the drawer front is difficult to see in the photographs, but gives the piece an elegant shape and makes it more unusual than a simple rectangular wooden box. Traditional corner joints, natural variations in the wood and an authentically aged surface add plenty of rustic character.

Originally part of a cabinet or chest, the drawer can now be repurposed as an open storage box for craft supplies, design tools, textiles, photographs, letters, keepsakes or other small treasures.

It would also make an atmospheric display box for a rustic interior, studio or shop, or could be used for wedding styling, flowers and photography props.

The simple wooden front also gives you the opportunity to personalize the drawer by adding your own knob or handle. A crystal drawer knob could give it a more elegant and romantic look, while a small porcelain insulator, vintage wooden chess piece or other repurposed knob could create a more rustic, industrial or playful character. A small detail can completely change the personality of the drawer and make it a unique piece for your interior.

Good rustic vintage condition with natural signs of age and previous use, including surface wear, marks, scratches, color variations and patina. The wood retains its authentic aged character.
