Their simple white form and gentle patina carry both function and understated beauty — whether you're crushing basil or thyme, or simply using them to hold small items.

This vintage porcelain mortar and pestle set was originally crafted for laboratory use and is resistant to high heat (up to 1200 °C). The outer and inner surfaces of the bowl are glazed, while the base remains unglazed for stability. These pieces were designed for burning or grinding organic matter, but today they are just as suitable for culinary use or decorative storage.

Perfect for grinding herbs, mixing spices, or holding salt — whether on a rustic shelf or a styled table.
