A wonderful original vintage Agfa box camera, dating approximately from the 1930s.
 
This classic early camera features a simple black box-shaped body with a distinctive Art Deco influenced front design, two viewing windows and the iconic Agfa diamond logo below the lens.
 
Agfa produced a range of compact box cameras during the 1930s, designed to make photography simple and accessible. Similar Agfa box cameras from this period used roll film and produced large-format negatives.
 
The beautifully minimal construction and strong geometric detailing give this camera wonderful decorative character. Today it makes an attractive piece for a vintage camera collection, photography studio, office, library or shelf display, as well as an atmospheric photography prop.
 
The camera is in authentic vintage condition with visible signs of age and use, including scratches, surface wear, marks and wear around the edges. These imperfections are part of its original character and history.
