The camera’s serial number is 53019948, which might suggest the year 1953 at first glance. However, the Ljubitel-166 was not introduced until 1976, so this number does not reflect the production year. LOMO serials from this era are not always date-based. Based on design and lens type, this camera was most likely produced between 1977 and 1981.
