Vintage camera Ljubitel
Vintage camera Ljubitel-166 – made for monochrome minds
This camera doesn’t rush. It waits. Time moves differently when you look down through a ground glass screen — as if listening to silence before a sentence begins.
The Ljubitel-166 is a fully mechanical twin-lens camera, built in 1970s Leningrad. It captures the world slowly, deliberately, on 120 roll film — one frame at a time.
This particular piece, serial number 52071349, is clean and clear. It’s ready to shoot black-and-white film, though it gladly accepts color too — if you long for warm vintage hues.
Today, it is more than a camera. It is a teacher of patience. A quiet, loyal observer.
Quite common type of Lubitel camera Любитель T-22 F-7,5 cm 1: 4,5 #52071349
Beautiful vintage item! In rustic condition- working condition, not very sure!
Technical note: Shutter fires, aperture adjusts, and focus ring moves smoothly. The camera has not been film-tested recently, but all mechanical parts operate freely and the optics are clean. Sold as "visually tested, not film-tested".
