Vintage miniature hanging balance scale

Vintage Miniature Hanging Balance Scales – Two Sizes

Charming vintage miniature balance scales with two hanging black pans and a metal balance beam.

The scales have a classic suspended two-pan design, with each small bowl hanging from the metal beam by three strings. A metal ring at the top makes the scales easy to hang from a hook or other suitable support, making them especially attractive as a decorative hanging object.

Two different sizes are available and sold separately. Their small proportions make them especially charming as collectible vintage objects and decorative accents.

Perfect for hanging in a vintage kitchen, shop, studio or workspace, or for displaying in a curiosity cabinet. They also make an unusual photography and styling prop and a lovely collectible for anyone interested in old measuring instruments and miniature objects.

Good vintage condition with natural signs of age and use. The metal shows some wear and patina, and the hanging strings may show age consistent with the vintage character of the piece. Please see the photos for details.
