My grandfather loved playing chess. He would often invite us, his grandchildren, to play. Sometimes, he would remove a few pieces himself, or sometimes we would play in groups against him to make it fair. Every game, every move, was full of warmth and memories.
I remember how my younger cousin resembled the character from the cartoon Notsuke, who was really good at playing chess.
These chess pieces are more than just a game—they carry moments that transport us back to those old, cherished memories.

Though the set is incomplete, it still contains 21 pieces – 12 black and 9 natural wood pieces. These are perfect not for playing but as decorative elements or as cabinet knobs.
